C.U.T. GOES GLOBAL VIA SATELLITE
Explosive Growth of Prophet's Church

Minneapolis — Spiritual teachings of the "Ascended Masters," as dictated by a modern religious guru, Elizabeth Clare Prophet, began beaming to 44 countries via the giant Questar satellites today as Prophet's Church Universal and Triumphant continued to attract thousands of new followers on four continents, according to church officials.

Speaking here in Minneapolis at the Target Center to a crowd of about 5,000, Church board member, Kate Gordon said that the group was evolving a new Church culture of the "servant leader," as exemplified by the famous Catholic nun and Nobel Peace Prize winner, Mother Teresa, who began her ministry to the sick and dying very humbly in the slums of Calcutta, India.

"Church Universal and Triumphant will open Adoption USA offices in six U.S. cities this week," said Steinman. "These centers will offer alternatives to abortion in keeping with our belief that unborn children are not only living people, but include the great leaders of the new age of peace and enlightenment, which is also travailing to be born worldwide."

Gordon and Church spokesman, Christopher Kelley, also noted that CUT would hold an unprecedented gathering of adherents from established churches and religions all over the world, including Christians, Muslims, Taoists, Buddhists, Hindus, Jews and other faiths, who will all present talks on their respective mystical traditions in a conference sponsored by CUT called "Mystical Synergy," this Easter at the Minneapolis Convention Center.

The conference will be open to the public and will also include an introduction to the Teachings of the Ascended Masters as well as workshops on prayer, meditation, healing, missionary work, teaching literacy, accelerated educational techniques for children, adults and families, coping with the problems of the teenage years and many other topics.

As little as a year ago, C.U.T. leaders were seriously concerned that the Church, still in the midst of a painful re-organization and down-sizing of staff, would not financially survive to see the 21stcentury. "The patient has made a miraculous recovery. You might say, in fact, that Church Universal and Triumphant has been reborn," said Church board member, Sidney Bennett.

Just in the last year, C.U.T. has attracted about 2000 new tithing members. Bennett noted that the Church is once again gearing up for expanded publishing of the Ascended Master teachings in books, audio and videotapes, as well as CD ROM format.

Five new major C.U.T. outlets called "Teaching Centers" will be in place around the world by the end this year, according to Bennett and a major C.U.T. missionary effort is being organized to bring this "modern mystery school teaching" to South America.

Asked to what the Church attributed this amazing growth spurt for C.U.T. in the year 2000, Church spokesman, Chris Kelley, said: "You have to say that this is at least a minor miracle. Spiritually speaking, we believe that God and the Ascended Masters, such as Jesus, Gautama, Saint Germain and lots of others you may not have heard of, have answered the prayers of millions of sincere spiritual seekers worldwide to provide incredible avenues like international satellite TV to bring this teaching to the planet.

"This teaching speaks for itself, " said Kelley. "We believe that millions of souls, just like ourselves, from all walks of life and from all the world's great religions are looking for this wonderful, liberating, inner spiritual teaching that was kept secret in many previous centuries. We are overjoyed to be able to offer it now to everyone."
